Introduction to me, Ms. Rogers - One thing that really annoys me is being rushed, so I don't do that to others. Buyers working with an agent need to know that agent is going to be with them 2 years from now if they still have not found a home.

One of my first clients was a slow buyer. It actually did take them over 2 years of coming down from Kansas City about every 6 weeks to look at homes. But, we found just the right one and now they're here happily enjoying themselves.

However, if you're in a hurry, you want an agent that can handle that, too. It doesn't happen often that buyers purchase the first home I show them, but it has happened. They had driven themselves around and seen a few homes on their own, but when it came time to do the deal, they contracted the first home I showed them.

So, slow or fast, the most important thing is that you get what you want.

A Southern California salary of $65,000 is comparable to a $42,000 salary in the Branson area. Groceries here are about 8% less, housing 64% less, utilities 12% less, transportation and healthcare are both about 16% less.

The Tri-Lakes area of Stone, Taney and Barry counties is one of the most affordable places to live in the country.
